PlayStation 4 Reviews- Far Cry 4

Far Cry 4 is an open world action-adventure first-person shooter game developed and published by Ubisoft published for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. It was released on 18 November 2014.

This game begins with your character Arjay arriving in KYRAT.

The first impressions of the game with the third person perspective lead you to believe its being run ruthlessly. At some point you’ll meet the director in charge of PAGAN. At first, seems very friendly, charming almost, needless to say this view doesn’t remain and Arjay is flung into the middle of a civil war (where your role is to help the GOLDEN PATH Rebels) Make sense? **Far cry fans nodding holding controllers**

The Gameplay is basically an open world shooter with the main base of every far cry game to date. The campaign is quite in-depth and there are certain choices to be made which do shape future missions and the overall outcome. Some of the side quests are filled with their own extras which contribute to the story. There are a lot of side quests to choose from including hunting, green running, assassinations, hostage rescue plans and many more. Also on top of all this you can build up your carrying capacity which helps when collecting animal skins and flowers.

I have personally played Far Cry 4 on both the Xbox 360 and now on the PlayStation 4. I have to say the graphics are amazing as ever with the PS4. The loading times seems to differ in comparison to the Xbox 360 as does the fact that on PS4 the game is far less glitchy.

The Far cry 4 gaming experience is far more superior to the others in the franchise including Far Cry Primal. To anyone who enjoys shooters or free roam gaming this is a must play.
